Akoya: Pure Cold-Pressed Oils From Sustainable Farms

How We Got Our Start

Our founder, Mr. Abhiraj Rajendra Pawar, brings a rich agricultural background and holds a Master's degree in Food Technology (MSc). Driven by a desire to make a positive impact on farmers, rural communities, and urban society, he delved deeply into researching various food products. His conclusion was clear: food should not be laden with artificial chemical preservatives and additives; rather, it should remain pure, raw, and healthy.

  • Thus, from this philosophy emerged Akoya. The name itself embodies the essence of purity, brightness, and preciousness. Recognizing the prevalent issue of food adulteration in today's market, particularly in everyday essentials like cooking oils, Akoya was born out of a commitment to offer unadulterated, high-quality products.

  • With Mr. Pawar's expertise in farming and processing, we embarked on our journey, starting with cold-pressed oils. Our farms, located in Pawarwadi, Tal-Phaltan, Dist - Satara, we practice chemical-free farming and use organic fertilizers. We firmly believe that by prioritizing the health and well-being of consumers, we can contribute to a better society.

  • At Akoya, we aim to not only provide nourishing options but also support farmers and promote sustainable agricultural practices. Our journey is fueled by a passion for integrity and excellence, inspiring others to embrace purity and healthfulness in their food choices."
